Synopsis

The Green Man's Holiday is the eighth novel in the Green Man series and follows Daniel Mackmain, a man with a dryad mother who has little experience with large family gatherings, as his girlfriend Finele invites him to her sister Iris's wedding. Many of the guests turn out to have supernatural connections of their own, including the bride and groom, who are able to transform into swans. After the wedding, Dan and Finele plan a quiet retreat to a country cottage to rest, but the folk wisdom about the dangers of making plans proves accurate, and their intended break from Dan's usual work is interrupted by complications neither of them anticipated.
