Synopsis
Elizabeth takes a job as a page at the New-York Circulating Material Repository, a lending library of ordinary and historical objects rather than books. In its secret basement she finds the Grimm Collection, a room of magical items from the Brothers Grimm fairy tales, including seven-league boots, a table that produces a feast, and a sinister talking mirror. When some of these items begin to vanish, Elizabeth and three other pages are drawn into a risky magical adventure. They must find the thief before they are blamed for the theft or caught themselves.
