Synopsis
The Hexologists follows Isolde and Warren Selby, a married pair of magical investigators skilled in symbol-based hexcraft, as they are drawn into a royal mystery at the request of the crown's own secretary, a case that starts as a discreet favor and quickly grows into something far larger and stranger than either of them expected. Their investigation leads them through a colorful gallery of encounters, an anti-royalist gang with its own agenda, ambitious alchemists dabbling in forbidden science, and other strange threats lurking beneath the city's respectable surface, as clues point toward a conspiracy reaching closer to the throne than the Selbys initially suspect.
