Synopsis
The Innocent Sleep is the eighteenth novel in the October Daye series. It retells the events of the preceding book, Sleep No More, from the perspective of Toby's partner Tybalt, the King of Cats, offering his own view of the crisis in which Toby was drawn into a false reality shaped by the Summer Queen Titania's magic. Where the earlier book followed Toby's disorientation from the inside, this companion volume follows Tybalt as he confronts the disappearance of the woman he loves and works, from the outside, to understand what has happened to her and what, if anything, can be done to reach her.
