Synopsis
At the end of his thousand-year reign over the Copper Mountains, old King Mansolain is tired and his heart is slowing down. While the doctor goes in search of the cure that can save him, the animals of the land hurry to the ancient Copper Castle beneath the mountains to keep him alive, and each night one of them must tell the king a story to keep his heart beating. Their stories turn out to be connected somehow, but exactly how only becomes clear at the very end, as everyone waits for the last knock on the door.
