Synopsis
The Kings of Clonmel continues the Ranger's Apprentice series as Halt, Will, and Horace are sent to the country of Hibernia, Halt's own homeland, to investigate and stop a dangerous religious cult known as the Outsiders from expanding its influence across the land. The cult's growing reach threatens not only Hibernia's stability but ultimately the security of Araluen itself, as its methods of persuasion and control spread unchecked among the local population. Working in territory Halt knows intimately but has long been separated from, the group must navigate old connections and unresolved history even as they try to understand how the Outsiders operate and why their message has taken hold so effectively. As Will and Horace adjust to Hibernia's unfamiliar customs, the three Rangers work to expose the cult's true nature before its influence can spread any further and destabilize the wider region.
