Synopsis

The concluding volume of The Fall of Shannara picks up after Tarsha Kaynin survives a fall from a cliff, leaving her more determined than ever to find and free Drisker Arc, who remains trapped within the otherworldly Forbidding alongside the long-imprisoned Grianne. While Tarsha works to reach her mentor, her companions, including Dar Leah, Ajin d'Amphere, and the young Shea, face their own perils in distant lands, from hostile forces to mythical dangers connected to the frozen nation of Skaarsland. Meanwhile the scheming druid Clizia Porse continues to pursue control of Paranor, the seat of druid power, threatening to undo whatever order remains in the Four Lands. Wielding her Wishsong, navigating dangerous quests across multiple realms, Tarsha must draw together allies old and new as political intrigue, magical artifacts, and old enmities converge toward a reckoning that will decide the fate of the druid order itself.
