Synopsis
The second book of the trilogy follows the family of J.J. Liddy, who once stopped time from leaking from his world into Tír na nÓg, years after the events of The New Policeman. When did the mysterious white goat begin to patrol the hillside above Kinvara? The book integrates much Irish lore into its story, and if the Liddys succeed in what they must do, they will defeat the forces that are gathering to destroy all of mankind and finally secure the future of the last of the high kings. A sequel to The New Policeman, by the winner of the Guardian and Whitbread prizes.
