Synopsis
There never seems to be enough time in Kinvara, or anywhere else in Ireland for that matter. J.J. Liddy, a teenage boy from a family of musicians in the County Galway village, sets out to find out why, and the trail of the county's lost time leads him to Tír na nÓg, the land of eternal youth of Irish legend, where he discovers that time is leaking from his world into the otherworld. And what does it all have to do with the village's new policeman, Garda Larry O'Dwyer, who also has a love of music? Steeped in Irish traditional music, it won the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize and the Whitbread Children's Book Award.
