Synopsis
Byx, a dairne, sets out to learn whether other members of her species survive, and discovers that they do. She also builds alliances with humans and with other creatures. As the whole world faces a growing threat, in which every creature rather than only the dairnes is in danger of extinction, she must rally beings of all kinds to launch a revolution. This is the third and final book in Katherine Applegate's Endling trilogy, a middle-grade animal fantasy that brings together the companions and factions introduced in the earlier volumes and concludes the story of Byx's search for her kind and the fate of her kingdom.
