Synopsis
Byx and her companions travel north into the snowy mountains of Dreyland, searching for a rumored hidden colony of her species and trying to learn whether she is truly the last of her kind. As war looms over Nedarra, the group uncovers a plot involving the other powerful species and a terramant scheme that threatens the land's creatures. They soon find themselves unlikely leaders of a growing rebellion. The book is the second in Katherine Applegate's Endling middle-grade animal fantasy series, and it continues the story of Byx and the allies who travel with her as the conflict across the kingdom spreads and the stakes for every creature grow higher.
