Synopsis
Sukie is lonely after the death of her older sister Kitty, but Kitty's ghost has stayed with her and has become frightening to anyone who gets close. When Sukie moves into her family's old house, an unfamiliar spirit sends her searching for hidden treasure. Her classmate Cole is also seeing apparitions. The two use a magical broom to reach a haunted annex of a New York library storage facility, the Poe Annex of the New-York Circulating Material Repository, where they search for clues and uncover old secrets. Their family histories turn out to be linked and full of romance, revenge and piracy.
