Synopsis
The Realms of the Gods is the fourth and final book of the Immortals quartet. As conflict with the dangerous Immortal creatures called Skinners escalates, Daine and her teacher Numair are caught in a battle that flings them out of the mortal world entirely and into the Divine Realms, the home of gods and long-departed spirits. Separated from their allies in Tortall and unsure how to return, the two must find their way through this unfamiliar realm while relying on unexpected help from beings who inhabit it. The unplanned journey forces Daine to confront questions about her own nature and parentage that she has never had reason to ask before, even as the threat to Tortall from the Immortals continues to build back in the mortal world she left behind.
