Synopsis
A year after Omri sent Little Bear back through the cupboard, he finds the magic key his mother left lying out and cannot resist turning it once more. Little Bear is alive in his own time, the era of the French and Indian wars, but this time he is badly wounded and his village is in danger of being destroyed. Omri brings him back to the present to be cared for, and then has to decide how far a boy can go in helping a friend who belongs to a different world. His friend Patrick is drawn in again, and the cupboard's power to bring people and things across time is tested further.
