Synopsis
Omri and Patrick are praised as heroes after they drive off a gang of burglars, but they cannot explain the small bullet holes in the walls, and they cannot tell anyone about the magic cupboard. Little Bear's wounded band needs medical help, so the boys must find a way to get it while keeping their secret from the adults around them. In the confusion Patrick discovers that the cupboard can also carry a person back in time, and he travels to the Wild West. He returns with Ruby Lou, the girlfriend of the toy cowboy Boone, so that the two can be married in miniature, but their journey brings an unexpected danger back with them.
