Synopsis
The Road Goes Ever On: A Song Cycle, first published in 1967, is a collection of sheet music setting poems from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth writings, mainly The Lord of the Rings, to music composed by Donald Swann. Later editions added further songs, including "Bilbo's Last Song" and a piece drawn from The Silmarillion.
