Synopsis
The Secret Chapter, the sixth book in the Invisible Library series, follows Irene and her dragon companion Kai as they are drawn into an elaborate heist. Irene needs to retrieve a crucial book to prevent chaos from overtaking her own alternate world, and the search for it leads her to Mr. Nemo, a wealthy and enigmatic Fae trader who deals in dangerous favors. Nemo assembles an unlikely crew for the job, including a dragon with a talent for technology, a Fae thief, a gambler, a getaway driver and muscle for hire, and sends them to steal a painting from an alternate early twenty-first-century Vienna's Kunsthistorisches Museum. As the heist takes shape, Irene finds that coordinating this volatile, mismatched team may prove just as difficult as the theft itself, with personal rivalries threatening to undo the plan from within before they ever reach the museum.
