Synopsis

The Dark Archive, the seventh book in the Invisible Library series, opens with Librarian-spy Irene traveling to Guernsey in search of a rare book, only to be pulled into a conspiracy far larger than the assignment itself. Irene survives an assassination attempt, Kai is poisoned, and her ally Vale barely escapes with his life, and further coordinated attacks soon follow in London, all of them aimed at people connected to the fragile Fae-dragon peace treaty the Library helped broker. Determined to stop the plot before the treaty collapses or someone close to her is killed, Irene traces the attacks to their source, eventually finding herself and her companions trapped together underground in a secret archive as an old enemy resurfaces seeking revenge. The investigation forces Irene to confront threats from both inside and outside the Library as she works to hold the peace together.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings, but they resolve to the exact same sequence for this book, so one combined line is shown instead of two identical ones.
