Synopsis
Hidden under Platform 13 at King's Cross Station is a gump, a secret entrance to another world that opens for only nine days every nine years. Nine years after the baby prince of a magical island was stolen, a rescue party comes through: an old wizard, a gentle fey, an invisible giant and a young hag named Odge Gribble. Guided by the ghosts who guard the London end of the gump, they find that the prince has become Raymond Trottle, a horrible rich boy who does not understand magic and is determined not to be rescued, while Ben, a sweet boy of lowly status in the Trottle household, delights them.
