Synopsis
After duelling with a dragon and a demon, Maimun knows he must destroy the stone that has kept him on the run for most of his life; the question is how. With Joen by his side, he journeys to the Tower of Twilight to beg the famed wizard Malchor Harpell for answers, but Harpell's help comes at a steep price. Friends become enemies, lost secrets come to light, and deep in the shadows the sentinels are watching, scheming to save the stone, even if it means someone must die. The conclusion of the Stone of Tymora trilogy by R. A. Salvatore and his son Geno, featuring the sage words and swordwork of Drizzt Do'Urden.

Notes
- From the series record (Stone of Tymora): A father-son (R.A. Salvatore & Geno Salvatore) young-readers trilogy following Maimun and Fetchigrol -- distinct protagonists, not part of Drizzt Do'Urden's continuity, so kept separate from the 'Legend of Drizzt' author-line entry.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.

- Internal chronology, within Forgotten Realms: position 153 of 215: previous Final Gate (2005) · next Avenger (2010)
