Synopsis
After being accosted by bullies on a forest trail, young Aeron is falsely accused of a crime and forced to flee into the Maerchwood forest. There, a mysterious figure known as the Storm Walker rescues and trains him, revealing that Aeron possesses magical abilities he never knew he had.
Where it sits
- Universe: Forgotten Realms
- Series: not part of a registered series (standalone work within its universe)
- Author: Richard Baker
Notes
- A standalone young-reader adventure novel ('Forgotten Realms: The Adventures' line) following a half-elf apprentice mage in Chessenta; unrelated to Troy Denning's Return of the Archwizards trilogy despite a since-corrected past mix-up between the two.
Neighbouring works
Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
- Publication order, within Forgotten Realms (standalone work): position 92 of 266: previous Faces of Deception (1998) · next The Spine of the World (1999)
