Synopsis
In the final book of the Broken Earth trilogy, Essun must find a way to return the Moon to its proper orbit in order to end the world's catastrophic cycle of climate-shattering Fifth Seasons, drawing on ancient technology and orogenic power beyond anything she has previously attempted. Her daughter Nassun, however, pursues a very different and far more dangerous plan of her own, one rooted in her own grief and disillusionment with the world that has hunted people like her for generations. As mother and daughter move toward the same astronomical turning point from opposite directions, Essun races to intercept Nassun before their separate solutions collide.
