Synopsis
Twelve-year-old Flick Hudson has never liked the idea of staying in one place, and she is worried about moving to a new town. Then she wanders into a travel agency where each suitcase leads to a different world. She learns that hundreds of worlds sit close to our own and is invited to join a secret society of travellers who look after them. Soon after she arrives, Flick finds out that Five Lights, the central city that links all the worlds together, is fading away. If it vanishes, it may take her own world with it. With new companions, Flick must journey through unfamiliar worlds, each with its own rules and dangers, to find a way to save the city before it is gone.
