Synopsis
The Sunforge, published by Sascha Stronach in 2024, concludes the Endsong duology after The Dawnhounds. The steel city of Radovan is left in flames following a devastating bioterror attack, and the crew of the pirate ship Kopek, including Yat and her companions Sen and Kiada, find themselves stranded in its harbor, their magic weakened and their numbers scattered. With their captain Sibbi missing and Yat struggling to hold onto her own sense of self, the crew must navigate Radovan's militia-controlled ruins to find a way out, relying on Kiada's connections to a local band of misfits called Fort Tomorrow, led by the charismatic thief Ari. As the group uncovers the true scale of the crisis engulfing Radovan, they find themselves caught up in a struggle that reaches well beyond the burning city, tied to an ancient conflict between gods now beginning to turn violent again.
