Synopsis
This graphic novel adapts the second book of The Kane Chronicles, continuing the story of siblings Carter and Sadie Kane as they take on a new, urgent mission: locating the legendary Book of Ra. They believe the book holds the key to reviving the aging sun god and holding back the forces of chaos threatening the world. Their search takes them across the globe, but they are not the only ones interested in the book's power. The House of Life, the secretive order of Egyptian magicians meant to protect the world's magical balance, views the Kanes' actions as dangerous and moves to stop them, while agents of chaos work against them from another direction. Carter and Sadie must rely on their own developing powers and their uneasy alliances with the gods to keep the world from tipping into disaster.
