Where it sits
- Universe: Symphony of Ages
- Series: The Lost Journals of Ven Polypheme ; position 4 of 4 in the series' recorded order
- Author: Elizabeth Haydon
Notes
- From the series record (The Lost Journals of Ven Polypheme): Middle-grade/YA prequel quartet set in the same world's 'Second Age', per the author's own framing, NOT titled 'The Lost History' (a misconception corrected during research). A 5th volume, 'The Star of the Sea', was announced but remains unconfirmed as published. No publisher-issued combined reading order merges this with the main saga.
Neighbouring works
Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
- Publication order, within the series The Lost Journals of Ven Polypheme: position 4 of 4: previous The Dragon's Lair (2008)
