Synopsis
Mika Moon is one of only a handful of witches in Britain, raised under strict rules meant to keep magic-users hidden and isolated from one another so their powers cannot interfere or draw notice. Orphaned in India and brought up in the UK by people who were not her own kind, she has grown used to a solitary life, with her one real indulgence being an online video persona in which she performs as a "witch," assuming no one takes it seriously. That assumption is upended when she receives an unexpected invitation to travel to the remote and secretive Nowhere House to teach three young witches how to control their untrained magic, a request that breaks every rule she has lived by.
