Synopsis
The Violet Keystone, concluding the Seventh Tower series, finds Tal and Milla, together with allies gathered across their journeys through the Castle, the Dark World and Aenir, finally facing the ancient evil that has been working to destroy their world throughout the series. Their path back to Aenir one last time requires releasing the Spiritshadows they have each bonded with over the course of the story, and confronts them with Sharrakor, a formidable dragon tied to the deeper mysteries the series has been building toward. With the fates of the Castle, the Dark World and Aenir all now entangled, Tal and Milla must draw on everything they have learned to stand against a threat far greater than either of them anticipated at the start.

Notes
- From the series record (The Seventh Tower): A completed 6-book middle-grade secondary-world fantasy sequence (Scholastic, 2000-2001), distinct from Garth Nix's Old Kingdom and Keys to the Kingdom universes: an unrelated setting split between the underground Castle and the sunlit surface world Aenir/the Veil.
