Synopsis
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the third published Narnia book, follows Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with their unpleasant cousin Eustace Scrubb, who are pulled into Narnia through a painting of a ship at sea. They find themselves aboard the Dawn Treader, the vessel of the now-adult King Caspian, who is sailing east on a voyage to locate seven lords loyal to his father who vanished years earlier during the reign of the usurper Miraz. As the ship sails beyond the known map toward the edge of the world, the voyage becomes as much a journey of exploration and discovery, including Eustace's own transformation as a character, as it is a quest to find the missing lords.
