Synopsis
Picking up directly after The Judging Eye, The White-Luck Warrior follows Drusas Achamian as he journeys with a band of mercenaries and Kellhus's step-daughter Mimara through the perilous forest known as the Mop, continuing his search for the truth about Kellhus's origins despite the dangers the wilderness and its inhabitants pose to the group. Meanwhile, in the north, Kellhus's Great Ordeal continues its grinding advance toward the ancient fortress of Golgotterath, facing both the harsh terrain and the hidden schemes of the Consult it was raised to destroy. The novel interweaves Achamian's increasingly perilous personal quest with the campaign's mounting toll, as both threads move toward revelations neither side is fully prepared for.
