Synopsis
Seyonne was once a Warden, a sorcerer sworn to hunt and bind demons, until his capture and sixteen years of slavery stripped him of his power and his dignity. Sold into the household of Prince Aleksander, heir to the Derzhi Empire that conquered his people, Seyonne expects nothing but more of the same -- until a demon appears at the Derzhi court, and the only man who might recognize it for what it is turns out to be the slave nobody thought worth noticing.
