Synopsis

Joanne Walker is a Seattle police officer and car mechanic who has never seen a dead body, and then finds her second within three days. Strange things keep happening to her: she can heal fatal wounds, she has no idea how, and she dreams of a talking coyote who claims to be her guide. She learns that she is a shaman, with the powers and the duties that come with it. The Wild Hunt has been loosed on the city, and Joanne has only three days to learn how to use her abilities and stop it before more people die. Each new body and each new ability makes it harder for her to treat any of this as a coincidence.
