Synopsis
In the third volume of the Watershed trilogy, heroes from the ordinary land of Dalethica and the magical realm of Faerine face the dark country of Duloth-Trol and its god, Dassadec. The mountaineer Rudy Appenfell and his love Raine have both become magical warriors, and they carry the hopes of the allied lands. Dassadec's armies press on the borders, and the defenders know that driving them back will not be enough while the god himself survives. Rudy and Raine have to learn where his power lies and find a way to reach it, while the leaders of Dalethica and Faerine try to hold their fragile alliance together against an enemy that works through fear and corruption.
