Synopsis
Wolftamer continues the story begun in Soulgazer, following Saoirse and Faolan, the Wolf of the Wild, as the consequences of her escape from an arranged marriage and the exposure of her volatile hidden magic continue to shape their intertwined fates. Having drawn closer together across the first novel, the two must now navigate the wider dangers their bond has set in motion, including the reach of the ruthless king Saoirse fled and the risks that come with her magic becoming increasingly difficult to conceal. The concluding volume of the Magpie and the Wolf duology carries forward the pirate-and-fugitive romance and the escalating stakes established in Soulgazer toward the resolution of Saoirse and Faolan's story.
