Synopsis

Worldbinder follows Fallion, son of Gaborn, as he attempts to use his inherited abilities to restore a cursed tree sapling entrusted to him, an act intended to heal rather than harm. Instead, the ritual goes catastrophically wrong, accidentally merging his own world with a parallel version of itself, setting off a chain of magical consequences that neither Fallion nor those around him fully understand at first. As the two worlds begin to bleed into one another, familiar people and places are thrown into unfamiliar and dangerous configurations, forcing Fallion to reckon with a crisis of his own making that reaches far beyond anything his father faced. The novel opens a new arc within the Runelords series centered on the unstable, merging worlds and the disorientation this creates for characters old and new.
