Synopsis
The Wyrmling Horde continues directly from the merging of worlds set off in Worldbinder, following Fallion as the crisis deepens: Lady Despair, a powerful and malevolent force, has possessed the mirror-world incarnation of his father, turning a version of Gaborn into an active threat within the newly merged reality. As the wyrmlings, a monstrous race native to the darker of the two merged worlds, grow bolder amid the instability, Fallion and his companions must contend with both this external invasion and the deeply personal horror of facing an enemy wearing his father's face. The novel escalates the series' central crisis, pushing Fallion toward decisions that will shape the fate of both merged worlds as the conflict with Lady Despair and the wyrmling horde intensifies.
