Overview

Bankgreen is a two-novel cycle by the French author Thierry Di Rollo, published by Le Bélial' as Bankgreen (February 2011) and Elbrön (September 2012). It is set on the planet Bankgreen, where time passes differently for different species and invented creatures stand in for familiar animals. The first book follows Mordred, the last of the varaniers, a grey-armoured mercenary who knows how and when everyone he meets will die. Bankgreen won the 2011 Prix Elbakin.net for best French-language fantasy novel. Le Bélial' collected the cycle in the 2018 omnibus Bankgreen, l'intégrale, which adds an unpublished short novel, Emmon. The two novels are the core of the universe.
