Overview

A completed post-apocalyptic fantasy/western hybrid trilogy, set roughly three centuries after a cataclysm tilted the Earth's axis and destroyed civilization. The trilogy follows Jon Shannow, a wandering, Bible-quoting gunslinger known as the Jerusalem Man, whose obsessive search for the lost city of Jerusalem carries him through a savagely reshaped world of brigand warlords, a resurgent Atlantean threat tied to fragments of ancient, morally ambivalent power-stones called Sipstrassi, and, in the trilogy's final book, a brutal theocratic regime persecuting outsiders. The original UK title, Wolf in Shadow, is used as canonical here; the first book was published in the US under the alternate title The Jerusalem Man.
