Overview
The Tennessee Russo books are young adult adventures by L. C. Rosen, also credited as Lev A. C. Rosen, set in the modern world with a small amount of real magic. In Lion's Legacy (2023), seventeen-year-old Tennessee Russo, the son of a television archaeologist, joins his estranged father on a hunt for the Rings of the Sacred Band of Thebes, a legendary troop of paired ancient Greek soldiers. In King's Legacy (2025), Tennessee hosts his own artifact-hunting show and searches for a gift King David gave Jonathan. Both books combine treasure-hunt adventure, romance and questions about who owns queer history. The series has two books so far and no third has been announced.
