Thieves’ World is a shared-world anthology series created by Robert Lynn Asprin in 1978, with Lynn Abbey as co-editor, in which many science-fiction and fantasy writers contributed stories set in the same invented city, Sanctuary. It is credited with establishing the shared-world anthology format.
