Overview
Aislinn has always been able to see faeries invisible to everyone else, and has spent her whole life following her grandmother’s rules to keep them from noticing her back. That careful invisibility collapses when Keenan, the reckless and ancient Summer King, becomes convinced she is the mortal who can free him from a centuries-old curse and restore his throne — pulling Aislinn and her closest friend Seth into a dangerous contest between a fading Winter Court and a summer that has never truly arrived. Across the five novels the story widens outward from Aislinn’s own choice: to Leslie, drawn into the volatile Dark Court through an enchanted tattoo; to the fragile, uneasy balance between mortal and immortal love once Aislinn takes the Summer throne; to Ani, a reckless halfling caught between both worlds; and finally to a reckoning that brings the Summer, Winter, and Dark Courts to open conflict.
