Lauren Roberts is a number-one New York Times and internationally bestselling author whose books have sold more than five million copies worldwide. She is best known for the Powerless series, which comprises five novels: Powerless, Powerful, Reckless, Fearless, and Fearful, a fantasy saga centered on bantering, high-stakes romance alongside its adventure plotlines. The series has also been released as a full-cast dramatized audiobook, alongside a companion coloring book and a complete boxed collection. Roberts has lived in Michigan her entire life, an upbringing she credits with giving her firsthand familiarity with potholes, snow, and lake activities that color her writing and public persona. She engages actively with readers online through social media under the handle LaurenRobertsLibrary and maintains a personal website of the same name, where she discusses reading, writing, and other pursuits connected to her growing fantasy fiction career.
