Synopsis
The last volume of the War of the Mage gathers every remaining power at the Sunken Crab, a desert islet in the seas of Evial. Above it and inside the great pyramid built there, the fate of many worlds and of the whole Ordered is decided. Gods lead mortal armies into battle and mortals lend the gods a hand in trouble, while clever spells meet the strength of will and love. The story of the mage Ker Laeda, the necromancer Nightjar and the warrior Fess comes to its close here. Each character has to decide what he has lived for and what he is willing to die for.
