Synopsis
Filiel has been staying with an unorthodox scholar when she meets the army of the eastern empire, which should not have been able to cross the desert, and she is taken prisoner. Eusys, a dragon knight, accepts a plan from Rune to defend his homeland against a force more than ten times the size of his own. Meanwhile the High Priest, who wants the throne for himself, confronts those who stand in his way at the sacred temple. As the empire's attack closes in, the question of who will be the next queen becomes urgent, and the hidden nature of the world begins to be uncovered.
