Synopsis
Lina Inverse is a young sorceress with a fearsome reputation and a powerful offensive spell repertoire. Lina travels with Gourry Gabriev, a wandering swordsman, toward Atlas City, unaware that she is carrying the Philosopher's Stone. Along the road they learn that others are hunting for the Philosopher's Stone, and they cross paths with the chimera swordsman Zelgadis and the sage Rezo, known as the Red Priest. Gourry carries a legendary Sword of Light, and what begins as a casual escort turns into the start of a long journey together, with the people chasing the stone and the strange powers behind it standing in their way.
