Synopsis
One year after the Demon God War, the cursed island of Lodoss is finally moving toward peace. Marmo, the island to its south, is still burdened by evil flame. The young knight Spark takes the throne as Duke of Marmo to clear that darkness, but a series of difficulties confronts him: signs of internal strife, the appearance of monstrous beasts and the scheming of remnants of the old empire. How he will get through the crisis drives the first book of the new series, a tale of adventure and love.
