Synopsis

The second and final volume of the Soul of God story closes the long Ordered World saga as it approaches Ragnarok, the day the gods truly die. Hedin, the New God, and Rakot, the Lord of Darkness, struggle over the last Source of magic, while mortal mages such as Solley, Kor Dwein and Skjold pursue goals of their own with power close to divine. The Distant Ones, outsiders who want to remake the Ordered World to suit themselves, press from beyond. Alliances are short-lived, and every battle shifts the balance between immortals and mortals. The many threads of the cycle converge, and the stake is whether the Ordered World survives at all. The book assumes the reader knows the earlier volumes.
