Synopsis

A Court of Thorns and Roses, by Sarah J. Maas, follows Feyre Archeron, a nineteen-year-old human huntress feeding her impoverished family, who unknowingly kills a faerie disguised as a wolf near the border of Prythian. As payment, she is taken from her home by Tamlin, a High Lord of the Spring Court, where she learns that everything she once believed about faeries was false. She discovers Tamlin is bound by a curse only broken if a human who once hated his kind comes to love him, and learns of a far greater danger: a powerful, ambitious enemy is working to conquer Prythian's courts. Drawn deeper into politics and magic she barely understands, Feyre must decide how far she will go to protect a realm never meant to be hers.
