Synopsis
A Crown of Wishes, published by Roshani Chokshi in 2017, is set in the same world as The Star-Touched Queen. Gauri, a princess of Bharata, has been taken prisoner of war and faces exile and public disgrace, her royal standing and future both in ruins, when she unexpectedly crosses paths with Vikram, a cunning prince from a rival kingdom with his own reasons for wanting an ally. Vikram proposes an alliance: the two former enemies will compete together in the Tournament of Wishes, a magical competition whose victor is granted a single wish by the Lord of Wealth himself. Setting aside old rivalries out of necessity, Gauri and Vikram enter a competition filled with strange and dangerous trials, and find that navigating each other's true intentions proves nearly as difficult as the tournament itself.
