Synopsis
Aeriel has broken the spell on the vampiric darkangel known as Irrylath and returned him to his human form, but the White Witch continues to haunt his dreams. Aeriel and Irrylath have escaped to Isterness, where the prince is reunited with his mother at long last, yet Aeriel cannot be happy. Pursued by the White Witch and haunted by her six remaining darkangels, the former slave girl seeks out an ancient oracle who may help her find a way to defeat her enemies, and sets off to find the lons, the traditional guardians of the world's kingdoms, finding along the way the gargoyles she once tended at Irrylath's castle. Book two of the Darkangel Trilogy.
